The Joint 7th AOHUPO Congress and 9th International Symposium of the Protein Society of Thailand (7th AOHUPO/9th PST), hosted by the Protein Society of Thailand and The Chulabhorn Research Institute, will be held at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand during 6-8 August, 2014. The meeting will explore all aspects of protein research including protein structure & function, proteomics, enzymology, roles of proteins in biological systems, applications of proteins and protein technology, as well as related areas.

        We have an interesting scientific program planned.   This will include some 4-6 Plenary Lectures by Nobel Laureates and other outstanding researchers, as well as some 30 renowned Invited Speakers from overseas and 10-15 leading Thai researchers. Some speakers have already accepted our invitation, and others are being invited. In addition, there will be a poster session with submitted Abstracts, some of which will be selected for Oral Presentation.

        Apart from the stimulating scientific program, there will be scientific exhibition by companies whose products are directly involved with protein research.  Moreover, participants and accompanying persons can enjoy the social program, and explore the sights and the culture of Thailand.  The meeting aims to draw attention from protein researchers globally, with the anticipated attendance of 500-600 participants.
